A big congratulations goes to Locke for his unparalleled effort on the launch of Mass Effect 2. The game comes out today, and nobody deserves to celebrate more than our clan brother:
Dark Crusade Holiday Tourney Results
Congratulations to Private Fuzz for winning the Dark Crusade Holiday Tournament. Since several registered participants failed to show, the tournament was cut down to a 5-man free for all played on the Totmacher's Prison map. The settings were standard as far as the starting resources and resource rate, with no locked teams. Fuzz successfully usurped the Eldar, Necrons, and two Tau players with his Imperial Guardsmen. Fuzz was awarded a brand new copy of Ironman on DVD and $10USD cash for his victory. The replay file can be downloaded by clicking here.
End of the Year Promotions
End of the 2009 calendar year promotions will be awarded to those eligible who have earned them on December 15th. Promotional consideration consists of a variety of factors including, but not limited to: Participation, forum activity, skill of gameplay, program initiative, attitude, and clan support.
DDO Expansion
After pilot testing by myself and a few members, and some thorough research on the actual game, TSC will be expanding to play Dungeons & Dragons Online (DDO for short). The game is a free albeit sizable download. The gameplay itself feels like a mixture Silk Road Online, the Blood Omen Series, and some mystery ingredient thrown in the mix. The balance in the game is excellent, as the weapons and armor are not over-done. For example, even if you have good armor, you still have to be careful and think in dungeons and combat areas. This is in contrast to those MMO's where you would be given the ability to "tank" through an entire level. On November 26th, TSC will be having a Turkey Day DDO launch. All members are encouraged to download the game in preparation, as new and old alike will be leveling newly made characters. This event will likely carry through the weekend. Further Additions
The Roster page has been added to the site, replacing its member list predecessor. Members are categorized alphabetically and by rank. Any member who finds themselves missing should notify Maven immediately. On a final note, a Dawn of War II category has been added to the forums.
